Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a national client base. This role goes beyond a typical helpdesk, involving OS installs, hardware diagnostics, cabling, and telecom tasks across diverse sites.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in IT/Telecom, with A+/Network+ or 5+ years field experience; a reliable personal vehicle and tools are required. Travel within an approx. 80-mile radius is expected.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience with one of the following certifications or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients; be on call within territory.
