Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our national client base. This field role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience, plus either A+/Network+ or 5+ years field experience. A reliable vehicle and valid license are required, with on-site travel within a defined radius.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT/Telecom experience preferred.
• Certifications (A+ or Network+) or 5+ years verifiable field experience required.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are needed.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across varied environments (retail, medical, restaurant, corporate).
• Maintain professionalism with clients; be on call within your territory.
