Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T./Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond the desk—installing operating systems, cabling, and on-site troubleshooting across multiple buildings.

You will work independently in diverse environments, carry a standard toolset, and be on-call within your territory. This is a 1099 contractor position with travel pay and app-based time tracking.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• 1 year of IT/Telecom experience, or 5+ years verifiable field experience.
• A+ Certification and/or Network+ Certification are desirable qualifications.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call within your territory.
