Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes far beyond basic helpdesk tasks—installing an operating system, diagnosing hardware, and performing structured cabling across buildings as needed.

You’ll work on-site in a variety of environments and be on call within your territory. Travel pay is included, and 1099 contractor status applies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience.
• One of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
