Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking a hands-on IT/Telecom Field Technician to support our national client base across multiple markets. Your day may include OS installs, hardware diagnostics, software setup, and on-site cabling.

You will travel to retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate locations, working independently to complete tasks efficiently. The role is a 1099 contractor position requiring a reliable vehicle, valid license, and tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year IT/Telecom experience in field service.
• Certifications such as A+ or Network+ strongly preferred; other 5+ years field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within territory.
