Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T. or Telecom technicians to support a national client base. The role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom work on diverse sites.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of IT/Telecom experience, relevant certifications (A+/Network+), a reliable vehicle, and on-call availability. 1099 contractor with travel pay and time-tracking app benefits the position.

Qualifications

• Must have field IT/Telecom experience and be comfortable working on-site at various client locations.
• PC & printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and basic IT tools for field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Carry out structured cabling, including drilling, running and dressing cables.
• Handle telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.) and travel to client sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests within your territory.
