Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled I.T. and Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks—from OS installations to cabling and telecom work across diverse environments.

You’ll be on call 24/7, work as a 1099 contractor with on-site travel within a defined radius, and use your own tools and a laptop with Ethernet. Reliable transportation and professionalism are a must.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus).
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, and one of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in IT/Telecom.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
