Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on I.T. and Telecom technicians to support a national client base. The role goes beyond helpdesk, involving OS installs, hardware diagnostics, and structured cabling across diverse environments.

You will be on call, travel within your territory, and work with various clients like retail, medical, and corporate sites. Valid driver's license and own tools are required; 1099 contractor position with travel pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience.
• One of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, OR 5+ years verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• Install OS, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Perform structured cabling and telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
