Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled technicians to support a national client base. This role goes beyond typical helpdesk tasks, including OS installations, structured cabling, and on-site hardware work.

You will operate across diverse environments—retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate—while staying on call and traveling within an 80-mile radius. A year of IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years field experience is required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT/Telecom experience required or 5+ years field experience.
• A+ or Network+ certifications preferred.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
• Must have a standard set of tools for IT tasks, laptop with Ethernet port, and smartphone with hotspot.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables; telecom work.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
