Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base in the field. This role goes beyond desk tasks, from OS installations to field cabling across buildings and terminating a 66-block.

Ideal candidates thrive on variety, have 1 year IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years in the field, own a reliable vehicle, and can be on-call. Travel and on-site work are essential components of this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years field experience required.
• A+ or Network+ certifications preferred or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call within territory.
