Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role involves OS installs, hardware checks, and cabling across diverse sites, not just helpdesk tasks.

You will operate in multiple environments, stay on-call within your territory, and travel within an approximately 80-mile radius from home. A strong IT/telecom background and relevant certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT/telecom field experience is required or highly preferred.
• Certifications like A+ or Network+ are a plus and may be required.
• Experience with field service and on-site installations is essential.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work including punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call in territory.
