Job summary

Walbridge is seeking an IT Technician to provide hands-on support at the job site, ensuring smooth operation of Windows-based systems and hardware. You will be the first line of technical assistance for end users.

The role requires 3+ years in IT support, ability to travel out of state, and willingness to train in Detroit, Michigan for 4–6 weeks. You will deploy desktops/laptops, assist with onboarding, and support new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT support experience in a Windows environment.
• Experience documenting work in a ticketing system.
• Willingness to travel out of state and stay overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 Windows 11 support and troubleshooting.
• Configure, deploy and support desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Prepare and provision workstations for new hires.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and pilot deployments.
• Assist with basic network setup and VPN access.
• Research and recommend hardware, software, and IT services.
