Job summary

Ovation Workplace Services seeks a Field Service Technician to perform on-site and in-house servicing, repair and installation of desktops, laptops, servers, and networking devices. You will provide end-user support and coordinate with IS teams to resolve hardware and software issues.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on IT support, strong communication, and ability to travel to client sites. This role requires working outside standard hours and driving to various locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on hardware/software installation and support experience.
• Experience breaking/fixing PCs, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for end-users and senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work non-standard hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, image, configure and upgrade desktops, laptops, servers and networking devices.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate with internal IT teams.
• Maintain inventory, document issues, and manage tickets (ServiceNow).
• Ensure security and AD/O365 configurations and policies are enforced.
