Job summary

IronEdge is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network systems. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, routers, switches, and peripheral devices.

The role involves maintaining LAN/WAN, diagnosing connectivity issues, and ensuring security with updates and antivirus protection. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving, scheduling, and communication skills, with willingness to travel to

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking enabled.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common hardware and software problems.
Excellent customer service skills for end-user interactions.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in field settings.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote IT support for hardware, software, and networks.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, routers, switches, printers, and scanners.
Maintain LAN/WAN environments and diagnose connectivity issues.
Document service actions and manage IT inventory; support IT security updates and antivirus protection.
Coordinate with teams, clients, and vendors to resolve issues; travel to different locations as needed.
