Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Field Support Technician to deliver remote and on-site support for ANG IT infrastructure across CONUS installations. The role involves hands-on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with substantial travel requirements and DoD-compliant practices.

You will work with systems, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure reliable, secure deployments and ongoing support for over 180 ANG sites. Remote flexibility is available with travel commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive commensurate experience.
• DoD 8140 Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND) is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; excellent customer service.
• Experience with enterprise hardware, networking technologies, and DoD DoW requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify IT equipment at field locations.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform system maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Travel nationwide to deploy and support ANG IT infrastructure.
• Provide on-site training and customer support for systems and services.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize configurations and deployments.
