Zusammenfassung

GovCIO is hiring a Field Support Technician to deliver remote and on-site technical support for ANG IT infrastructure across CONUS. The role involves hands-on installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of IT systems, with more than 50% travel and flexibility for occasional remote work.

Responsibilities include deploying hardware/software, troubleshooting, and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure DoW-compliant configurations and smooth field deployments.

Qualifikationen

• DoD 8140 Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND).
• Working knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms and common networking technologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 pounds) and travel more than 50% for nationwide deployments.

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
• Performs maintenance on products and subsystems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions to resolve issues quickly.
• Installs, upgrades and removes products, coordinating field changes.
• Provides on-site training to end-users on system operation.
