Job summary

Position Description

As a Field IT Support Technician, you will provide onsite installation and maintenance support for a variety of computer equipment, printers, and specialized Key Control equipment. Each technician is provided with a company vehicle for travel to customer sites. Responsibilities also include maintaining an inventory of repair parts and documenting work through the service tracking system.

Training

You will be assigned a territory and will attend a paid training program in College Station, Texas. The training is a hands‑on familiarization course covering equipment at customer sites and will also teach our policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Technical associate's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of technical experience (hardware/networking)
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds consistently
• Must be able to attend a paid training class in Texas
• Must have a valid driver’s license, no more than two moving violations in the last three years, and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service experience
• A+ and/or Network+ certification is a plus
• Ability to travel, including overnight hotel stays, up to 25%
