Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a Field Installation Technician to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our expanding infrastructure. You will install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and management tools while analyzing site conditions and consulting with on-site users.

The role requires extensive travel, flexible scheduling, and independent decision-making on site to implement systems and support customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Experience in retail, grocery, and/or foodservice industries is preferred.
• POS and networking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform staging activities, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting with customers and developers.
• Analyze site conditions and system requirements with on-site users to develop installation plans.
• Test and validate equipment connections and functionality for proper installation.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Assist in improving installation and setup processes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Document service actions with forms/reports and expense logs.
• Travel weekly and support installations at customer sites.
