Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a Field Installation Technician to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our expanding infrastructure. The role involves installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools while traveling to sites to serve customers.

The position requires frequent travel, the ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends/nights), and independent decision-making on field implementations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience or training.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products required.
• Experience in retail, grocery, and/or foodservice industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.
• Travel frequently to install and support customers and developers.
• Configure and maintain operating systems and software as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for resolution.
• Document service actions and maintain logs and reports.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Work with warehouse staff to verify equipment for installs.
• Provide on-site training and support to customers when required.
