Job summary

TRUNO, Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a Field Installation Technician to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our expanding infrastructure. You will travel to install, service, and repair machines and other technical equipment as part of a skilled engineering team.

You will analyze site conditions, install and configure operating systems and software, and work independently to implement field solutions. A flexible schedule and frequent travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or foodservice industries is a plus.
• POS and networking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform staging activities, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting with customers and developers.
• Analyze site conditions and system requirements, and consult with on-site users to develop installation plans.
• Test and validate equipment connections and functionality to ensure proper installation.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Document service and installation actions with forms/reports and logs.
• Travel weekly for installations and training.
