Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a Field Installation Technician to build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our expanding infrastructure. The role involves frequent travel to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair machines and other technical equipment.

The technician will manage and monitor systems, install and configure operating systems and software, and consult with on-site users to determine requirements for field implementation. Travel and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products required.
• Retail, grocery, and/or foodservice experience preferred.
• POS and networking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform staging activities, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting with customers and developers.
• Analyze site conditions and requirements to develop installation plans.
• Test and verify equipment connections for proper installation.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Document service actions via forms, reports, and logs.
• Travel weekly to customer sites for installations and training.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and devices provided by the company.
