Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Hydraulic Shovel Technician to join our field maintenance team in multiple mining sites. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, drills, and excavators to keep heavy equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, strong reading of schematics, and a solid commitment to safety. You will work shifts, coordinate with supervisors, and document maintenance activities for

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of vocational or technical training in heavy equipment mechanics, industrial hydraulics, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in maintenance/repair of large hydraulic mining or construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of fluid power, hydraulic circuits, diesel engines and electrical components.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Advanced Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: perform in-depth diagnostics on hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Hydraulic Component Maintenance: dismantle, repair, replace pumps, motors, cylinders, valves and hoses.
• Preventative Care: inspections, lubrication, wear analysis to prevent breakdowns.
• Technical Documentation Interpretation: interpret schematics and manuals to guide tasks.
• Safety and Compliance Enforcement: follow LOTO, OSHA and MSHA requirements.
• Maintenance Record Management: keep precise records of repairs and parts.
• Collaborative Teamwork: coordinate with supervisors and engineers on solutions.
• Emergency Response: respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
