National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership by engaging independent business owners in person. You will present NFIB’s benefits, close memberships on the spot, and contribute to advocacy efforts on behalf of small businesses.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with ownership over results.
• Ability to build rapport and close in face-to-face settings.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation and drive enrollment of new members.
• Close deals using a strategic, assumptive one-call close and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy and rights in DC and state capitals.
