Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Health Informatics Manager (field-based) to optimize HIT resources across multiple states and align HIT capabilities with clinical workflows and data insights. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in care settings.
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health IT including major EHR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs, workflows, and tech environments.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for patient identification, care delivery, and efficiency.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled, digital, and measurement resources and support evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing insights, risks, and trends with internal partners.
• Serve as HIT subject matter resource across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and scalable tools.
• Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions within GSK policies.
