Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT initiatives across multiple US regions. You will partner with health systems and GSK teams to align HIT capabilities with clinical workflows and technology environments, including EHRs and digital solutions.

You will translate data insights into opportunities to improve patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency, while educating customers on approved tools and supporting governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in a hospital, physician practice, or patient-care setting.
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
• Customer-facing experience with EHR products, CDS, patient identification, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional GSK teams to align HIT resources with customer needs, clinical workflows, and technology environments.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for improved patient identification and care coordination.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support their evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and client engagement across Market Access and other GSK units.
• Serve as a HIT subject matter resource across Market Access and other GSK business units, coordinating customer support and field input on scalable tools and resources.
• Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions per GSK policies.
