Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT-enabled solutions across a multi-state field base. You will partner with health systems and internal teams to align HIT capabilities with care workflows, data insights, and governance requirements.

You will educate customers on EHR-enabled tools, support decision-making, and contribute to strategic account planning within a field-based model that emphasizes collaboration and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR roles (hospital/clinic).
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and HIT.
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams.
• Epic or other major EHR vendor certification or RHIA/RHIT/CPHIMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement.
• Coordinate customer support and provide field input on scalable tools and resources.
