Job summary

The Generator Small Engine Mechanic/AC Service Technician at Generator Supercenter travels to customers'' homes using our company vehicle to perform repair and maintenance on whole home standby generators. You will apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair systems while reading manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

You will document services in the electronic system, communicate with customers about arrival and work performed, and adhere to safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with mechanical small engine repair.
• Experience with electrical wiring.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer residences using company vehicle.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair home generators.
• Follow manuals, diagrams, blueprints, and procedures.
• Communicate service details with customers.
• Update service software with performed work.
• Adhere to safety practices; outdoor work in varying weather.
