Job summary

Amcor is seeking an onsite equipment service professional to provide timely support for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants in the United States.

Level II requires mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills; travel up to 75% and a valid driver's license are expected. You'll install, maintain, and train customers while ensuring safety and reporting on activities.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery).
• Ability to travel 75% or more and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and timely onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot and support packaging equipment with a safety-first approach.
• Install, start-up and commission packaging equipment; assist in rebuilding equipment as needed.
• Provide training to customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Complete reports on activities and expenses in a timely manner.
