Job summary

Amcor LLC in Texas is seeking an experienced On-site Equipment Service Technician to support Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal performance of packaging films and shrink bag materials.

The role requires 3–5 years in food packaging, a technical degree, willingness to travel up to 75%, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Technical education or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-focused on-site service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging machines to maintain performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and install/start-up of Amcor equipment.
• Provide customer training on operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales and AFNA staff on projects and reporting.
