Job summary

Roche is seeking an Associate Field Engineering Specialist to travel within a designated territory, install and service Roche Diagnostics equipment, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role involves field-based technical work, preventative maintenance, and opportunity identification for service contracts.

The position requires 2 years of hardware/software repair experience, a relevant engineering degree is preferred, and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent training.
• 2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction and promote positive communication among teams to exceed customer expectations in product, service, and support quality.
• Install, maintain and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment.
• Identify revenue-generating opportunities and promote Roche Diagnostics service contracts.
• Provide routine technical support and operator troubleshooting training as needed.
• Complete and document service and customer account-related reports in a timely and professional manner; manage inventory and company property.
