Job summary

Roche Support Network seeks a Field Engineering Specialist to travel and provide technical repair and installation for Roche product lines, servicing laboratory customers in the assigned territory. This field role requires diagnosing hardware, software, and system failures, with travel up to 20% and occasional overnight stays.

Ideal candidates live within 20 miles of Princeton, NJ. Work schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required.
5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary.
Alternative: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites and perform on-site repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of Roche products.
Serve as a technical contact for customers, diagnose failures and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system issues.
Document activities and contribute to quality improvements while maintaining strong customer relationships.
