Roche in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Field Engineering Specialist to repair Roche product lines, servicing lab customers in NYC area with 50% travel and on-site support.

The role includes comprehensive onboarding at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, IN, and requires advanced electronics/IT knowledge, strong customer relations, and the ability to travel as needed. This is a field-based position serving labs in the region.

Formación

• High school diploma and technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking OR a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
• Successfully training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
• Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is required.

Responsabilidades

• showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines.
• offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.
• provide routine technical support, on-site service and repair of Roche products.
• serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
