Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to support Core Lab products in the NYC metro area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Roche instruments, while delivering excellent onsite service and customer support across the territory.

The role requires 50% travel, some overnight stays, and a background in engineering or technical repair. Onboarding occurs at our Indianapolis HQ, with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field plus 1–2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.

Responsibilities

• Showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines.
• Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.
• Provide routine technical support, on-site service and repair of Roche products.
• Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
