Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to service our Core Lab products in the NYC area. You will perform on-site repairs, preventative maintenance, and direct technical support for laboratory customers in your territory.

The role requires a technical education background (high school plus technical training or a bachelor’s degree in engineering/related field) and travel readiness. Travel may include overnight stays; onboarding occurs at our Indianapolis, IN headquarters.

Qualifications

Must have 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field +1–2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Repair Roche product lines and provide on-site service in assigned territory.
Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues.
Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose/resolve hardware, software, and system failures.
Document all activities and contribute to quality improvements.
Travel up to 50% based on customer needs; onboarding/training at Indianapolis HQ.
