Job summary

Roche in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to support Core Lab products across NYC, Long Island and Northern NJ. This field-based role requires on-site service, preventive maintenance, and rapid diagnostics to minimize downtime.

You will diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and networking issues, document activities, and maintain strong customer relationships. Travel up to 50% with onboarding at our Indianapolis headquarters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2 years of technical schooling or military training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Eng, Chemistry or related field plus 1–2 years of repair experience.
• Training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and repairs for Roche product lines in the territory.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Document activities and contribute to quality improvements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction.
