Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Field Engineer to serve as a primary technical resource for major industrial electrical construction projects. You will support contract administration, development of site plans, and coordination with the project team to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include managing field reports, assisting with submittals, drawing layouts, and tracking progress. The role requires 1–3 years in construction and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Design.
• 1-3 years of related construction experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and administer contract requirements focusing on construction documents, field orders, change orders, and close-out documents.
• Develop and implement job-specific safety, scheduling, document control, cost codes, material, and tooling plans.
• Maintain daily reports and paperwork including Daily Job Journals, RFIs, timesheets, purchase orders, and tool reports.
