Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is hiring a Field Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group to support core trade activities on large Industrial & Manufacturing projects. You will participate in safety plans, work with crews, and learn Lean practices while developing construction knowledge across site teams.

Ideal candidates have a related degree or equivalent experience, and are eager to grow in a collaborative, safety-focused environment with opportunities across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• In lieu of the above, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the project safety plan and culture.
• Learns and participates in safety culture through actions and mentoring.
• Works with tools and performs self-perform work embedded with a crew.
• Develops knowledge of company standards and building techniques on the job.
• Builds relationships with trades, foremen, superintendents, subcontractors.
• Learn company structure and how each function contributes to project success.
