Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer for our Advanced Facilities Group. You’ll be embedded with a crew, supporting safety, building processes, and Lean practices on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, learning through hands-on tasks, and developing relationships with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors. A related bachelor's degree is preferred, with 0-2 years experience supported by on-site training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 0-2 years construction experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Learns and participates in the safety culture with mentoring others.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work embedded with a crew.
• Develops understanding of Lean practices in daily activities.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members.
• Learns company standards for equipment use in building processes.
