Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group is seeking a Field Engineer to support core trades on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will participate in safety programs, perform hands-on tasks, and work with a crew to complete assigned work.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering (or related experience), basic layout and MS Office skills, and a willingness to learn Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and performs self-perform work embedded with a crew of craftsmen.
• Develops understanding of company standards for equipment use in building processes.
• Collaborates with foremen, journeymen, superintendents, subcontractors, etc.
• Attends weekly work plans and site-practice meetings.
