Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a FIELD ENGINEER – CORE to join our dynamic team. You’ll perform self-perform tasks with a crew, learn company standards, and contribute to safety and Lean initiatives on large industrial projects.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of construction experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with preferred apprenticeship exposure. This on-site role emphasizes collaboration with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Works with crew to complete assigned tasks on a project.
• Learns company standards and construction techniques through on-the-job training.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members.
• Develops understanding of Lean practices and daily application.
• Participates in weekly work plans and site practices.
