Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer – Trade Family (Core) to support Advanced Facilities projects. You will work with craftsmen, assist on-site tasks, and learn company standards for building processes while contributing to a safe, efficient job site.

The role emphasizes teamwork across foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors, with opportunities to grow in layout, crane flagging, and Lean practices within Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Participation in federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred, depending upon location.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Performs self-perform work embedded with a craft team.
• Builds relationships with trades and project team members.
• Learns company standards for equipment use and construction methods.
• Participates in weekly work plan meetings as needed.
