Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer in our Advanced Facilities Group to contribute to core trades on large industrial and data center projects. You will participate in safety programs, perform self-perform tasks with a crew, learn building techniques, and collaborate with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 0-2 years construction experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Lears and actively participates in the company’s safety culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury free environment.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work while embedded as part of a crew to complete tasks.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members such as foreman, journeymen, superintendents, subcontractors, etc.
• Participates in meetings such as weekly work plans and site practices.
