Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Field Engineer to support core trade activities on large Industrial & Manufacturing projects. The role embeds within a crew, participates in safety plans, and helps develop skills across building methods and Lean practices.

The successful candidate will have aBachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience, and will collaborate with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors to deliver tasks on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Learns and participates in safety culture by mentoring others.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work as part of a crafts crew.
• Acquires knowledge about company standards and fundamentals of building techniques.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members.
• Learns and applies Lean practices in daily activities.
• Participates in meetings such as weekly work plans.
