Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to support core trade-family activities within our Advanced Facilities team, contributing to safety, on-site execution, and teamwork on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects across the country.

The role requires up to 2 years of construction experience, a bachlor’s degree or equivalent, and a willingness to participate in apprenticeship programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work embedded with the crew.
• Builds relationships and communicates effectively with foremen, journeymen and superintendents.
• Learns Lean practices and applies company standards for equipment use on building processes.
• Attends weekly work plans and site meetings to support project goals.
