Jacobs is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP). You will act as the on-site representative, monitor contractor performance, prepare daily inspection reports, and ensure compliance with contract drawings and ADA requirements.

The role requires extensive travel (about 80% on-site) and strong communication skills, with the final candidate located on the West Coast. Occasional off-site work and documentation in Unifier are part of daily duties.

Competenze

• 6–8 years’ experience as a field inspector providing construction oversight and inspection on site development for transportation projects, civil/structural.
• Experience with facility renovation, historic preservation, rail transportation and ADA compliance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project locations in the continental U.S. approximately 80% of time.
• Possess a valid driving license and satisfactory driving record.
• Strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with post-construction assessments to verify contract and ADA compliance.
• Retain all project reports in the Unifier document control system.
• Participate in weekly contract progress meetings.
• Inspect warranty work during the contract’s warranty period.
• Provide on-site support to the COTR/RE and assist with various activities.
