Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP). You will act as the on-site representative, monitor contractor performance, and prepare inspection reports and ASAS forms to ensure ADA compliance across projects nationwide.

You will travel approximately 80% of the time with on-site work and occasional off-site tasks. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and collaboration with COTR/RE on diverse civil/structural transportation projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the continental U.S. (80% on-site).
• Strong communication and documentation skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance and provide on-site oversight.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and ASAS forms for ADA compliance.
• Coordinate with COTR/RE and support project documentation.
• Participate in weekly contract progress meetings and site inspections.
