Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP). You will serve as on-site representative, monitor contractor performance, prepare daily inspection reports, and document deviations from contract requirements.

The role involves travel across the continental U.S., with on-site time ~80% and 20% off-site, and could be located in multiple West Coast or nearby states. The successful candidate will promote safety and ensure conformance with drawings and specs,

Qualifications

• On-site field inspector with civil/structural focus.
• Experience in transportation projects and ADA compliance.
• Willingness to travel across the continental US.

Responsibilities

• Assist post-construction assessments to verify contract & ADA conformance.
• Retain project reports and documentation in Unifier document control system.
• Participate in weekly contract progress meetings and inspections.
• Inspect contractor warranty work and ensure quality per contract.
• Provide on-site support to COTR/RE and aid with activities.
