Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Amtrak ADA Stations Program. You will serve as the on-site representative, monitor contractor performance, prepare daily reports, and ensure ADA conformance with contract drawings and specifications.

The role requires 6–8 years of field inspection experience on transportation projects, willingness to travel 80% of the time, and strong communication. The position is based on the West Coast with on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years’ experience as a field inspector for transportation projects.
• Experience with facility renovation, rail, ADA compliance preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80% of time and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance on site and document deviations.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and ASAS/ADA compliance records.
• Maintain project documentation in Unifier system and attend progress meetings.
• Provide on-site support to COTR/RE and assist with various activities.
