Jacobs is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Amtrak ADA Stations Program across the continental U.S. You will serve as the on-site representative, monitor contractor performance, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with contract drawings and ADA requirements.

The role requires 6–8 years of field inspection experience, travel up to 80%, and a willingness to work on-site with occasional longer assignments.

Competenze

6–8 years’ experience as a field inspector providing construction oversight and inspection on site development for transportation projects.
Experience with facility renovation, historic preservation, rail transportation and ADA compliance.
High School Diploma or GED; willingness to travel ~80% of time.
Valid driving license and reliable driving record; strong communication skills.

Mansioni

Provide on-site construction monitoring from mobilization through final acceptance and closeout.
Prepare daily inspection reports documenting activities and deviations.
Verify contractor work conforms to contract drawings and specifications.
Complete Accessibility Survey Assessment System (ASAS) forms documenting ADA compliance.
