Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to help homeowners improve energy efficiency by performing Mass Save home energy assessments. You will model homes in energy-efficiency software, diagnose usage issues, and recommend measures such as insulation and high-efficiency heating and cooling.

Based in Connecticut with weekly travel to Fairfield for team meetings, you will work from home to visit customers, conduct assessments, install energy-saving products, and guide customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Mass Save knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Energy Assessment: conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Sales and Customer Service: initiate sales and secure service contracts; educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits.
• Installation and Documentation: install energy-saving products and complete paperwork accurately.
• Professional Development and Collaboration: stay informed on energy-saving options and collaborate with internal teams.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
